Why Stamira

A Different Kind of Endurance Education

We focus on what holds up over time, not what looks impressive for a week.

Pacing Over Intensity

All sessions and programs are built around a manageable, sustainable rhythm — not pushing limits.

Adapts to Your Week

Coaching blocks and plans adjust based on how your previous week actually went — not an idealised schedule.

Small Group Settings

Workshops and sessions are kept small so each person gets space to learn at their own rhythm.

Take-Home Materials

Every program includes practical guides and reference materials to use between sessions and beyond.

No Performance Pressure

Participation is framed as exploration and general wellbeing education — never comparison or competition.

Based in Kuala Lumpur

Located in the Jalan Kuching area, convenient for residents across central KL and the surrounding townships.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of activity level is needed to join?

No specific level is expected. All programs are designed for ordinary, everyday activity levels. If you can walk comfortably for twenty minutes, you can participate in any of our formats.

How is the ten-week coaching different from a regular fitness plan?

The coaching block is framed as general movement and habit education, not a structured fitness regime. Each week's content adjusts based on how the previous week went, so there is no fixed intensity to "keep up with". It is built around building awareness and gradual habit formation rather than performance targets.

Can I join the Year of Steady Progress without doing the workshop first?

Yes. Each program is designed to stand on its own. While doing the workshop first gives a helpful foundation, the membership includes enough introductory material to welcome participants who join directly.

Where are sessions held?

Workshops and in-person coaching sessions take place at our space in Jalan Kuching 210, 51200 Kuala Lumpur. Some membership content is accessible online as well. We will confirm venue details upon registration.

What are the payment options?

We accept bank transfer and common Malaysian e-wallet options. For the ten-week block and the annual membership, instalment arrangements may be available — just ask when you enquire.

Is this suitable for people who have not exercised in a long time?

The programs are particularly well-suited for people returning to regular movement after a long gap. The pacing-first approach means sessions never assume prior conditioning, and the habit-building structure helps build consistency from a low starting point.
